Off the shoulder asymmetry

A simple tee gets an easy upgrade by having an interesting hem line.

To love asymmetry

It’s no secret that my personal style revolves around pieces that are interesting to the eye!  This longer length jersey top is no exception, and I had a lot of fun pairing it with a pair of ripped up denim and chunky edgy heels.  A quick and simple outfit but still full of attitude.

I topped off the outfit with a Allsaints monochrome lightweight scarf threw lazily around the neck, and threw on a few delicate pieces of jewelry.  I felt like the silhouette didn’t need anything more.

I adore this printed scarf – it was a precious gift from my dear boyfriend during the time we lived cross country from each other, albeit reluctantly.  When he asked me a few years ago what I wanted for Valentine’s Day, he replied, “What, why?  You want a scarf?  Are you sure?”  Oh hells yea I’m sure!  Scarves are one of my favorite garment accessories period, plus they keep you so warm when it’s windy, snowy, and generally really unpleasant around this time of the year out in the midwest.  Plus the print on this guy is just gorgeous.  A big thank you to NewChic for their pieces and collab!
