Business casual

A quick shoot after a meeting in the city.

Business casual or just Alice casual?

I’m a bit thrown off schedule this week but coming back strong with this quick monochrome look today!

After having a meet up in San Francisco that required a more business attire, I came home and decided that this wouldn’t be a bad look to shoot!  This awesome blazer was featured in a previous post paired with denim, and I have to say, I like it even more here with black knit pants.  Yum.

Blazer – Aritzia // Ribbed tee – Zara // Pants – Aritzia (similar) // Jewelry – RocksBox (free month with code TYPENUXOXO) + TYPENU Co // Boots – Zara (similar) // Bag – Zara (similar)

You know me; when there’s black, grey is never far away.  It’s amazing how certain pieces can take an otherwise very standard business look to something entirely elevated.  This business casual attire has a nice twist to it thanks to the drapey blazer and this fluid rib tee from Zara with an asymmetrical hem.  Throw on a pair of ankle boots with some nice hardware, put on some minimal jewelry and I’m off to the races.

If your office culture demands business casual and you’re feeling a bit bored by the everyday blouse and flats, try switching one of your garments up with something a little more unusual and see if you like the results!
